Occupational Health Postdoctoral Fellow

As an NIH-funded postdoctoral fellow, my research combines my current training in health psychology and psychoneuroimmunology with my doctoral background in industrial-organizational psychology.

I investigate how work-life and work-family issues affect psychological well-being and immune dysregulation.

My research is guided by the following questions:

  1. How do we “take work home with us”?
  2. How do the psychological highs and lows at work affect our families and affect our health?
  3. How can we stay healthy while managing rich, rewarding work and personal lives?

I am funded by the Ruth L. Kirschstein National Research Service Award (F32) from the National Institutes of Health and working with Dr. Christopher Fagundes at the Biobehavioral Mechanisms Explaining Disparities Lab.
