As an NIH-funded postdoctoral fellow, my research combines my current training in health psychology and psychoneuroimmunology with my doctoral background in industrial-organizational psychology.
I investigate how work-life and work-family issues affect psychological well-being and immune dysregulation.
My research is guided by the following questions:
- How do we “take work home with us”?
- How do the psychological highs and lows at work affect our families and affect our health?
- How can we stay healthy while managing rich, rewarding work and personal lives?
I am funded by the Ruth L. Kirschstein National Research Service Award (F32) from the National Institutes of Health and working with Dr. Christopher Fagundes at the Biobehavioral Mechanisms Explaining Disparities Lab.
